Do I Belong Here?
It is one of the biggest problems in pursuing an international relationship. When your lady comes to your home country she is going to feel isolated. She might not understand the language well and she will have no friends or relatives around for companionship. Your lady will have to face this, at the beginning anyway, and it is completely up to both of you to decide how to make this period less difficult. Overcoming the first phase will help to promote a reliable and healthy long-term relationship.

My New Lifestyle
Slavic Ladies often walk to their local stores to go shopping. Many ladies in Eastern Europe have never driven a car and thus have never gone to driving school.
When she comes to your home country she will face a very different lifestyle and some of these changes will be very hard for her. You will need to be patient to help her overcome these difficulties.
Try to imagine the regular work day of your lady here: possibly your lady is about 34 years of age, she lives alone and brings up a child by herself: she needs to get up early in the morning (about 6:30 AM), a usual working day starts at 8-9 AM, she needs to cook breakfast for her and her child, she needs to take a shower and get dressed in a hurry. The reason is that in many towns and even cities the water supply is scheduled and limited. She needs to take her child to school or kindergarten which may be 20 minutes traveling by bus or by subway from her home. Afterwards, she goes to work that is often located in the opposite direction.
Then after a usual 9 hour working day she needs to pick up her child and take him home. She arrives home about 6 or 7 PM. Then she needs to cook dinner, do some housekeeping and help her child with the homework. She has to take care of herself, too.
When you become a couple she will have a different lifestyle. Of course although these changes will be for the better it won't be easy for her to get used to them. Again, try to be as patient and attentive as you can be. Now try to imagine the day your lady hopes to have. We recommend that you to be honest and respectful in your correspondence and meetings with one another.
I Am Homesick…
This happens to all people moving to a foreign country. Your lady will feel homesick from time to time, that’s for sure. This is normal. The reason of her sadness is simply her thoughts of her homeland and missing her family and friends that she left behind.
Your lady has family and friends she has known her whole life. It is absolutely normal that she will be missing them. Nowadays, with all the technology we have today, there are many ways for her to be able to communicate with her family (email, telephone, Skype, etc). We recommend you to make at least some of them available to her to help your lady keep in touch with her relatives and friends.

We know that this may seem an unusual request, but we strongly encourage you to arrange for her to take English classes as soon as possible. This will help both of you to understand each other better and to give her a much needed advantage when she arrives at her new home.
I Am Overwhelmed With New Information…
Try to imagine how much information your lady will have to understand in your native language in her new home: everyday news, communication skills and issues, etc. This list seems to be endless… It takes only her own effort to get comfortable with all these things, but it involves a lot of your understanding, support, encouragement, and attention to help her to be successful.
You Have to Spend Time with the Children and with Your Lady…
It is a common situation that your lady has a child and you have a child also. Both of you love, care and respect one another and your own kids.
Then there comes time to meet the other person's children. In our experience many ladies as a rule bring up polite and respectful children. The ladies are very attentive and very loving toward their kids. It is not unusual that when two families with children come together there are conflicts not only between the children but also between the parents and the children.
